The 1989-1990 EL 250 Eliminator, also sold as the ZL 250LX, is a mini-custom twin with a low seat, a 249 cc four-valve liquid-cooled engine and a six-speed gearbox. Its page reproduces a 1993 road test that calls the bike expensive for its class but well built. The test praises the engine and modern switchgear and lighting, and notes that the choke is awkward on a cold start.
